What can I use my SEO and Programming Hours for?

Optimization involves both technical and content-based attributes of the website. We will discuss with you the most pressing issues and determine work accordingly. The hours could include content optimization, content development, link research, and more!

Do you offer 24/7 technical support?

Not at this time. Our support hours are 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM Atlantic Time, Monday through Friday.

Can you restore an old version of my site from a backup?

Yes, we can. As part of our packages, we make regular backups and store them in a secure off-site location. Provided the backup you want is available, we can restore it.

What does AOR Web Solutions do if my website is hacked?

Through our partner, Sucuri Security, we monitor your website continuously for problems so we know immediately if something is wrong. On top of that, we will manually check your website on a regular basis.

Unfortunately, even with proactive monitoring, not every security issue can be prevented. If that happens, we will respond as soon as possible.

How do I get support?

Email us at any time from the email associated with your account or call us and we will open a support ticket.

What happens if my WordPress plugin cannot be updated?

There are times when WordPress plugins are no longer supported, or when they cause conflict with other plugins. In these cases, we will work to fix the problem if possible. This may involve leaving the plugin at an earlier version, or identifying potential replacements for the plugin causing the problem. In either case, we will contact you to notify you of the problem and the proposed solution.

What if an update breaks my site?

Before performing any updates, we backup your site. If the updates cause problems, we restore your site with the backup we just created. From there, you’ll be notified of the issue and potential solutions. The majority of issues are addressed free of cost, however, custom plugins, issues introduced by users, or especially time-consuming issues may be billable. AOR Web Solutions will not incur any additional costs without obtaining approval from you first.

What is the difference between the Analytics Highlights reports and the Quarterly Detailed Report?

An Analytics Highlights report covers the basics – who your visitors are, where they come from, and what they do on your site. It also reports on the Key Effectiveness Indicators, if they have been developed. Information is carried from one report to the next, and over time it shows changes in how your site is being used.

A Quarterly Detailed Report takes your analytics to the next step. It connects the information in your highlights, and shows how these factors impact successful interactions on your site. It also includes recommendations on how to improve your Analytics collection and some insights on how to potentially improve performance on your site.

If you have not determined Key Effectiveness Indicators for your site, you can use your hours for a formal web analytics review, where your Key Effectiveness Indicators can be developed!
